Arts Club of Washington

A beautifully furnished historic mansion, once the home of President James Monroe with a central and convenient location, just three blocks from the White House. The Arts Club of Washington offers intimate and elegant settings in a gallery style venue with salons on two floors, and an expansive walled garden and terrace.

The Arts Club of Washington brings into association and cooperation persons devoted to the arts – architecture, cinematography, dance, drama, literature, music, painting, photography and sculpture – and promote the appreciation of historic preservation through study, restoration and preservation of the James Monroe House.
