We're thrilled to welcome Jacques-Pierre Malan back to the series with another outstanding event at the glamorous Embassy of the Czech Republic. Mr. Malan will be accompanied by Oleg Poliansky—an award winning Ukrainian pianist. 

The event will feature selections from Beethoven, Hofmeyer, and Janáček, regional Czech delicacies and wine along with opportunities to mingle with Embassy staff, musicians, and local leaders.  

Jacques-Pierre Malan, artist-in-residence at the Embassy Series, is a South African cellist showcasing a vibrant style of engaging and energetic playing that has wowed audiences all over the world.  

Oleg Poliansky, a prolific chamber musician and solo pianist, comes to us from Kyiv, Ukraine. He has an estensive, prize-winning history on stages large and small having soloed in some of the largest venues in the world.  

Overlooking Rock Creek Park, The Embassy of the Czech Republic offers a gorgeous event space tailor made for great acoustics and socializing.
